Bridgepoint was founded in Fulton County, NY in 2018 by Managing Director, Garrett J Schrom as a Social Enterprise. After Tesla pulled back its energy division from the Upstate New York market, it was realized that there was a flaw in the way energy options are made available in the marketplace. Truth is, no one option is best for all. There is a real connection between both how consumers purchase energy and the local economy of our communities. Bridgepoint works with multiple companies, carrying multiple options in one place with a conscious effort to keep more of our energy dollars in our communities. By using a broad bulk purchase model, we can partner with companies to offer discounted rates to our customers. Our belief is that connecting consumers to local energy options that fit their needs, while driving local investment in energy rather than divesting to out of state or out of country providers, we can move to a better economic solution, both for the customer and the community. As a Social Enterprise we are a community partner with a social purpose. Later on in November we will be launching The Aurora Project, which will take a portion of the revenue collected and reinvest those dollars into our communities through grants.
Bridgepoint is committed to consulting with customers to find the right energy options for them, as well as, working with providers to deliver products are economically beneficial for our community.
